So Amy, is bread slapping a uniquely Kiwi past time? I'm not sure if I want to know, now that I think about it!

Bread slapping is an old Auckland pastime (oh mom, now you've got me questioning the spelling of pastime).

You take some Turkish flatbread, and slap your friend across the face to see how dense it really is. Great fun!

Can also be done with long French baguettes.
